Nick has spent his life in entrepreneurial roles at the nexus of marketing, media, politics and technology. Throughout his career, he has displayed an ability to lead innovation and growth by applying new technologies and business models to legacy industries, focusing on achieving sustainable revenue growth and profit. From senior executive and strategic advising roles in media (Washington Flyer, TMG Media, NewsCorp, Inc. Magazine), business development / marketing across a variety of industries (, Y BizDev, Global Vision Communications, Interlex Communications), and time spent in politics and advocacy (Congress, Goddard Goddard Gunster), Nick’s passion lies in challenging the status quo to create stronger organizations.

Most recently, as CEO of data-marketing start up, Nick was responsible for setting the vision, business & product strategy, key client & partner relationships, along with financing ($3.0M in funding acquired since the company's inception in 2010), investor relations and Board management. was selected as a winner in Steve Case's inaugural Rise of the Rest tour, as well as Technology Start-up of the Year in the 2014 NEXT Awards by the Nashville Chamber of Commerce. 

As Founder of Y2 Ventures, Nick has developed a platform from which he can bring the entrepreneurial culture, excitement, and "can do" mentality of a start up to companies and entrepreneurs who are seeking to change their world. Through Y2 Ventures Nick has aligned his deep experience, passion, perspective, and skills into a model that allows him to do the thing he loves most, help business owners elevate their game.

A husband and father of two, Nick currently resides in Nashville, TN, along with his wife Mandy and their children Ella (4) and Hunter (1). Though a resident of Nashville, Nick spends much of his time between Nashville, Washington, DC, New York, and LA. He is a graduate of Bucknell University.
